Child Safeguarding Policy
Best People Foundation adopts a zero-tolerance approach to any form of child abuse, neglect, exploitation, or inappropriate conduct. All programs involving children are conducted strictly within school premises with prior authorization from competent school authorities and under the supervision of teachers or designated staff. All volunteers and representatives are required to adhere to defined standards of professional and ethical conduct and are prohibited from engaging in any behaviour that may compromise the safety, dignity, or privacy of children. The collection, use, storage, or disclosure of any child-related personal data, including photographs or recordings, is carried out only for legitimate educational purposes and strictly with appropriate consent from parents/guardians and/or school authorities, in compliance with applicable laws including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Any suspected or reported child safety concern shall be treated as a serious matter, promptly reviewed, and acted upon in accordance with internal protocols and applicable legal requirements. Best People Foundation reserves the right to take disciplinary action, including termination of engagement and reporting to relevant authorities, in case of any violation of this policy.
